The Killingworth Youth League was formed in 1970. The Little League organization began with 4 boys teams. Today there are
over 30 baseball and softball teams for boys and girls ages 6-16. The purpose of the Killingworth Youth League is to promote the enjoyment of America's favorite pastime. Using volunteer coaches at every level, KYL strives to provide quality baseball and softball instruction for children of all ages living in the town of Killingworth.

The organization meets monthly (the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Killingworth Firehouse). All coaches, umpires, team coordinators and parents are welcome to attend.

KYL conducts a registration for the spring baseball season each January and February. In lieu of a candy fundraiser this year, parents/guardians of each player will be required to volunteer at the concession stand at either Rocco Reale Field, Sheldon Park or Killingworth Elementary School during a minimum of one game during the season (it does not have to be at a game where your child is playing). A parent from each team will be organizing concession coverage when the season starts.

THE KYL CONSTITUTION:

The Killingworth Youth League members voted and approved the league's constitution at its January meeting. It can be viewed here: KYL Constitution
